Seprify wins CHF 2m Grant to Accelerate Market Entry

Seprify (previously Impossible Materials AG) in Marly (Switzerland) has been awarded a highly competitive, non-dilutive grant funding from Innosuisse within the new Startup Innovation Project program. Deep-tech start-up Seprify uses cellulose white pigments to replace harming TiO2 nanoparticles in food, cosmetics, pharma, coatings and inks. The funds will be used to construct a pilot production line in Marly, Switzerland, expand the team, and accelerate the work with partners on market entry.

Marly, Switzerland – 1st December 2023 – Seprify has already successfully raised an oversubscribed seed funding round in early 2023 to establish their initial pilot facility in Switzerland. The new Startup Innovation Project enables to further grow production capacity and accelerate the market entry of Seprify first product, a cellulose white pigment. The total project budget amounts to almost CHF 3m.

Seprify is focused on turning cellulose into functional ingredients to provide safe and sustainable colour and texture solutions for industry.
